Most cocoa beans are form africa. Alot of Fairtrade Cocoa is done in Ghana were it is the right condiitions to grow cocoa and the place where alot of other companies do it so its best place to go.
Good news -you can now get Fair Trade hot chocolate - and if you really want to help the cause you could always try dunking some FT chocolate squares in it!!
Very well researched Mrs Nesbit but unknown to many FT hot chocolate has been around for ages but its just lying at the back of shelves. Look next time your at tesco in isle 12 in the wafers there are some new Fairbreaks from Traidcraft 10 for only 99p.
Hi there. I'm writing from a primary school in Cornwall and I really enjoyed your video. We are about to have a 'Love Your Planet Day' and we shall be talking about fairtrade chocolate, recycling and other environmental things. I am also planning a kids video workshop for this Easter. How long did it take you to make your video? Where did you start? Did you have fun?
I see both Dubble and Divine have Fair Trade easter eggs -do you know if they will be available in local supermarkets ? If so we could be promoting them for Easter.
Although for the price of an Easter egg you can also buy 100 school dinners from Oxfam unwrapped - oh the moral dilemmnas!!
